I attended Bates College for my bachelor's degree in chemistry. My academic background covers a wide variety of subjects, but I have focused on the sciences. I tutor students in the sciences, and most specifically in biology and general chemistry. I've had experience teaching as well, serving as a TA for biology and introductory chemistry courses, which also allowed me to help students in a laboratory setting and to grade reports. I currently make use of my training every day working in the biotech industry. I'm currently studying to take the MCAT, and I'm looking forward to a career in medicine. When I have free time, I enjoy doing crossword puzzles, cheering for Boston sports teams, eating snacks, skiing, and getting out on the boat.
